She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Nietling and Andrew Nietling; her husband Charles I Ball; and her brothers, Robert L Nietling and Richard Leroy Nietling.

She is survived by: her children, John E. Eickholt (Mary Niedefski) of Chesaning, Donna Kozlowski (David) of Chesaning, William Eickholt (Ronda), Bernard L Eickholt II of Chesaning and Joseph Eickholt (Michele); her grandchildren, Andrew Eickholt (Stephanie), Stephanie Eickholt, Cody Riley and Stephen Riley; her great grandchildren, Fay, Caleb and Georgi; and her sister Marguerite "Peg" Ruhl (Eugene) of Chesaning.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church.
