He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo L. Gerding and Frances L. Gerding (Baker); and his siblings, Richard Gerding and Karen. He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Wending (Gordon) of Chesaning and Gary Gerding (Pat) of Chesaning; and his brother-in-law Stewart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
