She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Maike and Theresa Maike (Constine); her husband Joseph Cowman; her son David; her son-in-law Bill O'Brien; and her siblings, Clarence, Alfred, Walter, Louis, Evelyn Danek, Lawrence, Leonard, Gerald, Jim and Jane Vondrosek.

She is survived by: her children, John Cowman (Denise Mahoney) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ron Cowman (Margaret) of Boise, Idaho, Patti O'Brien of Suffolk, Virginia, Doug Cowman (Lori) of West Olive, Michigan and Jeff Cowman of Chesaning; her daughter-in-law Margie Cowman of Caldwell, Idaho; and her siblings, Lucille Maike and Lavern Maike. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
