She was predeceased by: her daughter Angela McElhaney (Bennett); her grandson Mark Schmidt; her parents, John Pupava and Marie Pupava; her brothers, Steven, Daniel and John; and her fiancé Robert Woody (Bob).
She is survived by: her daughter Christina Schmidt (Bennett); her grandchildren, Tyler, Alisha, Ryan, Rachel (Newka), Cole and Keith; her former husband Jesse Bennett; and her close friend William Gross (Bill). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Racy Free Methodist Church (19983 W Brady Rd, Elsie, MI 48831).
