She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Mitas and Dorothy Mitas (Bucholz); her husband Gregory Knapp; and her sister-in-law Gayle Schwan. She is survived by: her children, Seth Knapp (Kimberly), Brittany Hofmann (Matt) and Cody Knapp (Mackenzie); her grandchildren, Riley, Talon, Daniel, Myla and Addy; her pets, Baxter, Ellie Mae, Poco and Cricket; her sister Beverly Kosin (Mark); and her siblings-in-law, Macine Schmidt (Frank) and Ray Schwan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McGeehan Funeral Home - St. Charles Chapel (209 Entrepreneur Dr, St Charles, MI 48655). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
