Patricia Malcolm Obituary
We bid farewell to Patricia Malcolm of Chesaning, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Patricia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Peter and Laura Etta Maurer (Cheeseman); her grandson Michael Malcolm; and her siblings, Helene Kerr (Frederick "Mac"), Barbara Thompson (Lyle), Laura Saddler (Joseph), Janet Swaim (Jack), Peter Maurer (Wilma) and George Maurer (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her children, John Malcolm (Sheila) of Boulder, Mary Anne Himmelspach (Michael) of Holly, James Malcolm (Jeanne) of Oakley, Thomas Malcolm of Raleigh and Michael Malcolm (Elisa) of Breckenridge; her siblings, Leo Maurer (Loretta) of Delton, Robert Maurer of Greensboro, Louie Maurer (Susan) of Plainwell, Michigan, Mary Davisson of Lansing and Jean Annable (Richard) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and her sister-in-law Janet Maurer of New Oxford, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Misiuk Funeral Home (202 S Front St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (404 S Wood St., Chesaning, MI 48616).
Donations may be made in Pat's memory to St. Peter Catholic Church, or Union Court's Christmas Fund in Chesaning, Michigan.
