He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidore Gengler and Cecelia Gengler (Cieslinski); and his siblings, Wilfred Gengler (Angela), Lillian Bitterman (Phillip) and Isabelle Birchmeier (Philinus).
He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Hungerford; his brother James Gengler (Ann) of Chesaning; and his close friend Ignacius Ekka of India. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other loving family and friends.
