It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Bonkowski of Chesaning, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bonkowski and Angeline Bonkowski (Kaczmarek). He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Belko; his children, Rick Bonkowski (Charlene), Beverly Strouse (Al), Jodi Birchmeier and Barbara Mesh (Michael); his grandchildren, Dana, Dawn, Dustin, Blake, Wade, Joshua, Jacob, Joslin, Emily and Scott; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Aundrea, Alex, Avery, Bryson, Zander, Brayden, Freya, Ava and Addison; and his sister Loraine Martin Walraven.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Misiuk Funeral Home (202 S Front St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A prayer will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
