Bethany J. Mittan Obituary

We announce the death of Bethany J. Mittan of Clare, Michigan, who passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 89. Bethany will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Lutes and Dorothy Lutes (Wood); her husband Roger Mittan; her siblings, Barbara Carrell and Jerry Lutes; and her granddaughter Alissa Marie Methner.

She is survived by: her children, Marcella Mittan of Clare, Suzy Haas (Tom) of Farwell, Glen Mittan (Nancy) of Farwell and Stephanie Judd (Mark) of Glen Arbor. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
