He is survived by: his parents, Don Jones and Karen Jones; his daughters, Morgan and Hadley; his former wife Meghan Smith Jones; his sister Teri Brodie (Brent); and his nieces, Sydney and Shelby Brodie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Doherty Hotel and Conference Center (604 N McEwan St, Clare, MI 48617).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chris's honor to the Chris Jones Education Fund, established to support the education and future of Morgan and Hadley.
