He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin and Nedra (Sander); his wife Nancy Vavrik; his son Kirk (Nicole); his grandchildren, Lena, Anna, Carissa, Sarah, Olivia, Addiah and William of Cincinatti, OH; his son Joe (Mandie); and his grandchildren, Janelle, Kara and Jackson of Midland, MI.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Brown Corners Church (5540 S Clare Ave, Clare, MI 48617). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Hospitals as it was one of Doug's favorite places to give.
