He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard McJames and Norma Buchhage (Bergey); his stepfather Carl Buchhage; his brother Leonard; his siblings-in-law, Lois McJames and Bill Merillat; his son-in-law Chris Walkiewicz; and his father-in-law Bill Coe Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Jane McJames of Clare; his children, Melanie McJames-Bell, Brian McJames (Wendy), Avery McJames (Cori) and Aubrey McJames (Caleb Parish); his grandchildren, Aaron Bell (Stacey Miller) and Amber Bell (Lucas Small); his great grandchildren, Kennedy and Karter Bell; his siblings, Florence Merillat, Glen McJames (Bertha), Marilyn Bassage (Mark), Ellouise Herkel (Jeff Johnson) and Carla Jones (Mike); and his mother-in-law Paula Coe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
