He was predeceased by : his parents, John C. Haring and Violet Haring (LaVoye); his son Alan Haring; and his siblings, Bill Haring, John Haring and Darlene Fisher.

He is survived by : his wife Glenna; his daughters, Toni Kamph of Texas, Jodi Chinavare (Ken) of Clare, Jackie Dimmer of Tennessee and Cindy Cavanaugh of Harrison; his grandchildren, April Vorholzer of Texas, Mindy Vorholzer of Texas, Jimmy Chinavare (Shayna) of Clare, Samantha Chinavare of Mt. Pleasant and Sabrina Chinavare of East Lansing; and his siblings, George Haring (Marilyn) of Coleman, Jim Haring (Lori) of Harrison, D. J. and Stacy Haring of Indiana. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
