He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Kay King; his birth mother Dorothy Hemminger; his girlfriend Carole; and his close friend Sam Sellers. He is survived by: his daughter Cheylene (Robert Varto) of Novi; his grandchildren, Kira and Cole; and his siblings, Cherrill Hemminger, Daniel Hemminger, Randal Hemminger, Brenda Goss and Richard Hemminger.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clare Christ Fellowship (3260 E Colonville Rd, Clare, MI 48617).
