Sheila Rae Appelgreen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Rae Appelgreen of Clare, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Wischmeyer and Myrna Wischmeyer (Stellow); and her brothers, Frank and Duane Wischmeyer. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Appelgreen; her children, Kelly Carmoney (Craig) of Manistee and Nichole Nienhuis (Brad) of Allendale; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Appell (Blake), Jackson Carmoney, Sydney Carmoney, Noah Nienhuis and Drew Nienhuis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stephenson - Wyman Funeral Home (1005 N McEwan St, Clare, MI 48617). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
