William D. Montney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William D. Montney of Clare, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen "Dale" Montney and Ruth Montney (McClain); his wife Betty D. Bellows; his son Alan Montney; and the parents of child, Dale and Ruth Montney.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Montney, Maida Eberhart (Martin), DeeAnna Mohr (Dan), Denise Lyon (Charlie) and Tammy Myers (Mike); his daughter-in-law Kim Montney; his sister Nelda Murphy; and his shit-tzu Hank. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stephenson - Wyman Funeral Home (1005 N McEwan St, Clare, MI 48617). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Corners United Brethren Church (5540 S Clare Ave, Clare, MI 48617).
