Carole Hartsuff Obituary
We announce the death of Carole Hartsuff (Clarklake, Michigan), who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 94. Carole will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Smith and Clarissa Smith (DuBois); her husband Maurice Hartsuff; her daughter Amy Whiteaker; and her siblings, Wesley Smith, Marilyn Frederick, Frances Schafer, Margaret Johns, Dorothy Kerr, Roseann Wittenberg-Pelham and Ruth Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Hartsuff of Jackson and Beverly Jones of Vicksburg, Michigan.; her grandchildren, Nathan, Francisco and Sansaray; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Stephen.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Universalist Unitarian Church of East Liberty (2231 Jefferson Rd, Clarklake, MI 49234).
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to Universalist Unitarian Church of East Liberty Endowment Fund or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
