With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark M. Charles of Clarklake, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Charles and Esther Charles (Johnston); and his grandson Bradley Holzapfel. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Norton; his stepchildren, Kelly Swirple (John), Paul Williams and Andrea Clark; his siblings, Norm Charles (Phyllis Mellon), Rebecca Plummer (Ned), Pat Kalmes (Mike), Cathy Charles (Matt Knox) and Cindy Hardy (Duke); and his grandchildren, Madalyn, Lucas and Alexandria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cascades Humane Society.
