The memory of Alvin E. Giroux Sr. of Clarkston, Michigan, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Alvin E. Giroux, Jr. (Susan), Kevin Giroux (Linda), Jeannie Marshall (Paul), Craig Giroux (Kim), Brian Giroux (Lori), Denise Giroux (Brian Fulcher) and Scott Giroux; and his sisters, Barbara Gilman (late Ronnie), Helen Davison-Ethier (Robert Ethier), Judy Allen (Michael) and Linda House. He was also cherished by one of 12 children, many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A prayer will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church (5481 Dixie Hwy, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the All Saints Cemetery (4401 Nelsey Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329).
