He is survived by: his daughters, Josephine and Hannah; his former wife Alicia Grindle of Berkley, Michigan; his parents, James Grindle and Anne Grindle of Rockford; and his brother Gabriel Grindle (Danielle) of Rockford.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the memorial fund for his daughters.
