In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Helen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Helen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her daughters, Lisa Simunovic (Robert Blasi) and Karen VanGilder (Matthew); and her grandsons, Nicholas and Michael VanGilder.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A prayer was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lucy Croatian Catholic Church (200 E Wattles Rd, Troy, MI 48085).
