He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Florence; and his brothers, Robert McDonald (Linda) and Joe McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Jessica; his children, Scott McDonald (Nicole), Sarah Mutter (Jayme) and Eric McDonald; his grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Samantha McDonald, Sydney, Ayden Mutter and Jaxson McDonald; his siblings, Ron McDonald (Shelley), Arlene Manza (Dennis) and Linda Hopper (Tim); and his sister-in-law Karen McDonald. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Daniel Catholic Church (7010 Valley Park Dr, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346).
