It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Jean Smith of Clarkston, Michigan, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Nothoff (Downing) and Henry Nothoff; her husband Don; her parents-in-law, Beatrice Smith (Cunningham) and James Smith; her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Nothoff (Radke), Isabel Mayer (Smith), Fran Odetter (Smith), Jim Smith, Bud Mayer and Bob Odette; her son-in-law Jimmy Jando; her grandson Blake; her friend Ruthann Phillips; Bob.
She is survived by: her brothers, Tom and Jim; her children, Angie Feltz, Pam Jando, Janeen Smith (Jim), Terry Bird (Tom), Martin "Elliot" Smith and Donna Benford (Randy); her grandchildren, Johnathon, Maggie and Nicholas Feltz; her children, Tom, Emily McNairy, Lee, Gus Haley, Zeb, EJ Smith, Justine, Brett Benford (Karly) and Andrea Steiner; and her great grandchildren, James and Olivia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
