She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clifford and Carol Clifford; her daughter Carrie Moody; and her former husband James M. Dawson, Sr.. She is survived by: her son James M. Dawson, Jr. (Michaelle); her grandchildren, Marion E. Walters, Samuel Donnelly, Maxwell Donnelly and Ava Donnelly; and her sister Laura Page.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Brandon School District, Harvey Swanson Elementary School Student Council who will create a living memorial in honor of Mrs. Dawson.
