He was predeceased by: his parents, Khalil Arida and Asma Arida (Copti); and his sisters, Marie Haddad (late Michael) and Antoinette Arida (Neran). He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Danielle Pendleton (Ryan), Paula Arida, Christopher Arida (Fatima), Nora and Layla Pendleton; his siblings, Louis Arida (Marlene), Therese Issa (late Ibrahim) and Claire Aouad (late Michel); and his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Khalil (Ghassan), Georgette Tomey (Fawzi) and Linda Sabak (Souheil).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of Redemption Melkite Catholic Church are preferred.
