With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Wilson of Clarkston, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Richard leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Doc" Wilson and Joanne McClain Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Suzan Wilson; his daughters, Tisha Bennett and Jennifer Day (Scott); his grandchildren, Dream Broyles (Trevor), Sky Flansburg and Tivona Reaver; and his siblings, Jay Wilson and Pam Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coats Funeral Home (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329).
