He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dawson and Agnes Dawson (Knapp); and his siblings, Wilma Bennet, Virgina Fuller and Fred Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Brandon Dawson (Shane) of Chattanooga, TN, Annette Covington (Terry) of Clemmons, NC, Caleb Dawson (Andrea) of Zumbrota, MN and Denée Hand (Matthew) of Cumming, GA.; and his siblings, Bernie Dawson, Ken Dawson and Liz Blough. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the South Boston Bible Church (6858 Kyser Rd, Lowell, MI 49331).
