She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred James and Elaine James; her husband James Kenneth Currie Sr.; and her sisters, Jolene Gubert, Sharon Labush (Raymond) and Charlene Ditzek (Joseph).
She is survived by: her sons, James Currie Jr. (Shanna), Tim Currie (Sheila) and Patrick Currie (Dawn). She is also survived by grandchildren; and four beloved great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gramer Funeral Home (705 N Main St, Clawson, MI 48017). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (581 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cadillac Memorial Gardens East (38425 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).
