He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Austin and Edith Austin; and his wife Carol. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Schultz (Tamee), Kimberly Mumma (Rick), Charles "Michael" Austin (Tamera) and Dawn Payne; his grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Matthias, Mikel, Mariah, Svannia, Sidney, Stella and Stroud; and his great grandchildren, Lainey, Navy, Anthony and Corinna.
Due to restrictions from the COVID-19 outbreak, visitation is limited to 25 people at a time.
