We are sad to announce that, on January 24, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Howie Airriess of Clawson, Michigan. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Howie Airriess to show support.

He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda K. Airriess; his parents, Howard E. Airriess and Mary F. Airriess; his brother Marty J. Airriess; and his great grandchild Jackson.

He is survived by: his children, Chris Airriess (Lorilyn), Galien McClellan (Judy), Joan Smith, Rebecca Airriess and Tina Cox (Jason); his brother Barry Airriess; his aunt Carol Markesino; his brother-in-law Carl Norrow; and his pet Reno. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Due to restrictions from the COVID-19 outbreak, visitation is limited to 25 people at a time.

The Airriess family requests memorial contributions be made to the Clawson Lions Club, PO Box 64, Clawson, MI 48017.

“Sorry to hear about this sad day, I knew Howie for about 30 years in the steel business. Had some great times and good stories of Howie, especially at a golf outing where he wore (2) black loafers - (1) black leather and (1) patent leather he took all in stride smoked another cigarette and had a drink! that is how i will remember him.... He will be truly missed. Jim Creagh”
