He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Weir and Isabel Weir; his wife Mildred "Toots" (Chestnut); and his siblings, Edward Weir, John "Jack" Weir, Margaret Sheeter, Marie Terry and Elizabeth "Betty" Mitchell.
