He was predeceased by: his sister Emly; his brother-in-law Jamie Danie; his grandparents, James, Janet Cooper, Ray and Elizabeth Kivimaki; his uncle Doug Roberts; and his aunt Elizabeth Slapak.
He is survived by: his significant other Jill Broom; his children, Brooke, Hayden, Blake Kivimaki, Lily, Violet and Ren Logan; his parents, Ray Kivimaki and Cathy Kivimaki; his brother Daniel (Jamie); and his aunts, Barb Tekavec (Jim), Colleen Cooper (Sue) and Karen Cooper. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
