He is survived by: his daughter Mia Dexter; his brothers, James Lee Dexter Jr. (Kim Waples), Daniel Edward Dexter (Gregory Beckett) and Cary David Dexter; his nephews, Dillon Dexter, Sean Waples-Dexter, Brandon Dexter and Alec Waples-Dexter (Caitlyn Sievewright); his stepmother Joane Dexter; and his former wife Fran Dexter.
