He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Black and Richard "Dick" Black. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Black (Sarah) and Julie Kral (Justin); his sisters, Bernadette Black and Carol Anne LiCalzi (Greg); and his grandchildren, Will, Emma, Nora, Neil, Brady and Rees.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ace in the Hole Foundation (aceintheholefoundation.org) in memory of his nephew and Godson, Marine First Lieutenant Michael LiCalzi, who gave his life serving his country in Iraq in 2006 at the age of 24.
