He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry (Lorain Ponichter) and Detroit; and his brother Dennis Ponichter. He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Harrison (Vidal), Lisa Ponichter, Annette VanderLinde (Joel) and Kristen Ponichter-Pierce (Bradley); his grandson Levi; his former wife Patricia Sliger-Ponichter; and his sisters, Barbara Finazzo and Yvonne Tringali (Sal). He is also survived by father to his four daughters.
