Evelyn Louise Reitz Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Louise Reitz of Clayton, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy A. Gunter and Hazel F. Gunter (Barhite); her husband Wilbur Reitz; her siblings, Stanley Gunter (Alma), Larry Gunter and Phyllis Vehmeier (Lewis); and her son-in-law Leroy Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Reitz (Diane) of Sand Creek, Judy Cox (Jim Langton) of Clayton and Betty Driskell (Mark) of Adrian; her sister-in-law Therese Gunter; and her grandchildren, Lee Cox, Cory Cox, Andrew Cox (Alayna), Jessica (Chris Ecker), Ryan Reitz, Marissa Reitz and Marcus Driskell. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
