He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Long and Arbutus Long (Lawson); and his granddaughter Molly Lefler. He is survived by: his wife Linda Guilbault; his children, Paul Long, Marla Lefler (Matt) and Sheila Martinez (Dave); his grandchildren, Logan Long, Adam Lefler (Tori), Andee Lefler-Novak (Rose), Gracie Lefler, Kristine Martinez and Vince Martinez; his great grandchild Lucas Lefler; his siblings, Jim Long (Marlene), Rhonda Long and Randy Long (Sheila); and his in-laws, Jennifer Mead and Joel Miller.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Marlette Hospice.
