He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Harwood and Marjorie Harwood (Wisneski). He is survived by : his girlfriend Terri Orban; his stepchildren, Tori Platte (Derek) and Zach Orban (Hunter); his stepgrandchildren, Josie Platte, Harlyn Wright, Grayson Wright-Orban and Remington Wright-Orban; his son Shawn Harwood; his grandchildren, Alexis Harwood, Rhianna Harwood and Riley Harwood; his siblings, Dale Harwood (Alaina) and Sandy Harwood; and his nieces and nephews, Chad Morgan, Jim Morgan, Jesse Harwood, Jeremy Harwood, Jeff Harwood, Melissa Matta, Jason Matta (Yvette), Ryan Sensenig (Lindsay) and Matt Chicoineau.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel - Marlette (2675 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453).
