He is survived by : his wife Betty; his daughter Jennifer VanSolkema (Ryan); his grandsons, Ryder, Cody and Garrett VanSolkema; his brother Charles Barker; and his brother-in-law James Shinaver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
