She was predeceased by: her parents, Niles Hagelshaw and Cecile Hagelshaw; her former spouse L. J. Leach; and her husband George Pence. She is survived by: her children, Larry Leach (Brigette) of Climax and Tammy Leach of Lansing; her grandchildren, Kelly Leach and Kevin Leach; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Leach and Lane Leach. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Climax United Methodist Church (133 E Maple St, Climax, MI 49034). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Home Cemetery (308 S Main St, Climax, MI 49034).
Norma and L.J. were inducted into the Michigan Farmer Hall of Fame in recognition of their contributions to agriculture and their community.
