He was predeceased by : his parents, William Henry and Rosaura Brown (Bauzo); and his sister Beatrice Ashley. He is survived by : his girlfriend Lois Osterhouse of Climax; his brother Wayne Brown (Debbie) of Battle Creek; and his nephews, Harold Ashley (Pam) and Jason Ashley (Nicole).
