He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis M. Romain Feldman; and his brother Robert Feldman. He is survived by: his children, Diana Diesing (Dean), Kirsten Christiansen (John) and David Feldman Jr. (Linda); his nephew William Feldman (Mary); and his niece Sharon Mitton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
