He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kopp and Gladys Irwin Kopp. He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Jeffrey "DJ", Brian and Neil; his wife Pat; his grandchildren, Justin, Julia and Daniel; and his sister Janet Martin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden Funeral Home (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Grosse Pointe Congregational Church (240 Chalfonte Ave, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236).
