He was predeceased by : his parents, Benedetto Benedettini and Ophelia Benedettini (Zanotti); and his brother Carlo. He is survived by : his girlfriend Connie Emilii; his sons, Steve (Nancy), Roberto and Mark Benedettini (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Matthew, Grant, Brett, Evan and Eva; and his sisters, Anna Amici and Maria Renzi.
