He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Chapman and Janice Agnes Chapman; his wife Sandy; and his siblings, Carl Chapman and Karen Sutton.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Chapman of Ferndale, Scott Chapman (Belinda) of Macomb and Shannon Cargile (David) of Decatur, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Shawn Golembiewski, James Chapman, Rebecah Chapman, Desirae Biondo and Mikie Warrick; his significant other Libby Zelenak; and his partner's daughters, Patti Weinand (David), Lynn Pazdziora (Gerry) and Nancy Profant (Rick). He is also survived by his extended family includes several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with the many friends and loved ones.
