He was predeceased by : his wife Cathy Gies; his parents, Frank Gies and Bette Gies; and his brother Cary Gies (Michelle). He is survived by : his children, Kelly Slebodnik (James), Jessica Eaton (Murray) and Amanda Stover (David); his grandchildren, Coyce, Reilly, Madison, Grace, Gabriel, Sela, Sadie and Sloane; and his brother Dale Gies (Grace). He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
