He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. and Geraldine; and his siblings, Edward A. and Mary Jo Weinert. He is survived by: his sibling Sandie Bowe; his sibling's children, Kristyn Nikoriak (Harold), David Weinert (Nicol), John Weinert (Alexandra) and Katie Lukovich (Ryan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chris, Cole, Chloe Weinert and Eleanor Lukovich.
The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Assumption Grotto Catholic Church (13770 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48205). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).
