He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Ringstad and Rose Ringstad (Dubay); his children, Justin and Jennifer Ringstad; and his brothers, Mark and Clifford Ringstad.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn McInerney; his daughters, Bonnie Garschagen-Phillips, Kati (Ryan Drumheller) and Lyndsay Ringstad (Jamie Ringstad); his granddaughter Mia Martin; and his siblings, Sharon Stabe and Keith Ringstad (Lynda).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
