He was predeceased by: his parents, August Kapolka and Evelyn Kapolka; his siblings, Dennis Kapolka and Thomas Kapolka; and his brother-in-law Dave Dismuke.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Jennifer Kemp (David), Jerome Kapolka Jr. (Kristina) and Julie Harris (Robert); his grandchildren, Annaliese Kemp, Katryna Kemp, Ashley Richardson (Chuck), Makenzie Robinson (Nick) and David Kapolka; his great grandchildren, Kenny and Carter Robinson; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Dismuke (Jean), Deborah Winninger (Patrick) and Mary Dismuke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kaul Funeral Home (28433 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48081). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Jerry are suggested to Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
