She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Likavec and Mary Likavec; and her husband Arthur Eland. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Valente (Ron), Lynne Rodriguez, Bob Eland (Dana), Michael Eland and Karyn Borsuk (Rob); and her grandchildren, Mathew Valente, Ciara Polikretis, Garrett Eland, Alexis Eland-Rodriguez, Phillip Borsuk, Farra Evans, Michael Lopez and Austin Borsuk. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Resurrection Funeral Home (40800 Hayes Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038). The lying in state will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (12311 19 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (36105 24 Mile Rd, New Baltimore, MI 48047).
